September Round Robin
Vera, our Club Captain writes:-
On Sunday 21st September, a bright and sunny day, we held our last Round Robin of the season. Following the random selection of the teams each pair played four matches of eight ends. They scored two points for a win and one point for a draw. There was some excellent bowling resulting in some close matches.
The final winners, by one point, were Susan Ellis and Martin Tomlinson. Runners-up were George Handley and Mike Warwick.
The afternoon was enjoyed by all and the cakes, sausage rolls, and nibbles were much appreciated.
