Thank you to all members who came down to the club for ‘Boon Day’.

All your hard work is much appreciated.

On Sunday 5th July members played in the Jubilee Shield Doubles Competition. Partners are chosen from a random draw and the system is a straight forward knockout.

Half way through the afternoon members took a break for refreshments and cakes.

The finalists were Colin James and Jon Robinson V Jim McPoland and Peter Wightman.

Congratulations to Colin and Jon who won the Jubilee Shield.

Thank you to our Club Captain Vera Alderson for organising the afternoon. Thanks to all members who played in the competition.

Heversham Bowling Club welcomed fourteen students from year 7 and 8 from Dallam School, who enjoyed an induction to Crown Green Bowling.

All of the students threw themselves into the session with enthusiasm, showing excellent focus and determination throughout. It was great to see the progress they made in such a short space of time. Many of the students developing a strong bowling technique and showing real potential.

It was a fantastic afternoon that was enjoyed by all.

A huge thank you to Kevin Edwards and Bex Waddock from Dallam School for joining in and bringing the students along to the club.
